Last day of the half term holidays and another lockdown fast approaching, it seemed more important than ever to make the most of sunshine hours today. Climbing up to the top of the hill, the wind was strong enough to hold a nine year old leaning into it. It also pulled down a shower from what looked like a near cloudless sky and sprinkled us with leaves from a few of the trees.
Someone mentioned Wuthering Heights as we reached the top of the hill but it was hard to imagine glowering Heathcliff in such happy hills. Anyway, he would probably be arrested early doors in a post Me Too era. There are some benefits to living in 2020, but here’s hoping 2021 is better.
